Job Description
Sheeter Operator | Second Shift | Erlanger, KY
Under the direction of the Printing Supervisor. The Sheeter Operator will run a BW Papersystems Econ Sheeter, ensuring the meeting of company quality and performance standards, customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Set the slitter knives and sheet size
- Perform Quality checks to make sure product is within specification
- Filling out proper paperwork and reading plate densities
- Perform assigned maintenance activities according to departmental procedures
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Report equipment issues or job-related issues. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
- Requires one to three years of trades training and three to twelve months' related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of sheeting for a printing press
- Ability to work standing for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Good attention to detail and ability to catch defective material. Detail oriented.
- Ability to log production
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Schedule:
2:45pm-10:45pm Mon-Fri
Pay:
$22/hr
