Shopify Frontend Web Developer
Nama is looking for an exceptional in-house mid-level Shopify Web Developer. This is an opportunity to establish roots on a direct-to-consumer eCommerce customer experience team. You’ll work directly with the Digital Director to implement new products, pages, posts, and more.

Responsibilities
The following are examples of the various responsibilities for this role:
● Lead and collaborate on technical discoveries and communicate solutions with the team
● Troubleshoot bugs or issues as they arise and develop a plan to resolve
● Evaluate and maintain 3rd party Shopify apps
● Implement and maintain content and assets across the Shopify store – including products, blogs, posts, pages, etc.
● Translate technical requirements and design mockups into best-in-class web experiences
● Maintain reusable code and documentation for future use, optimization, and scalability
● Maintain Git code repositories
● Develop Shopify pages, templates, sections, snippets, etc.
● Develop a new custom theme with Shopify’s latest technology stack
● Maintain a mirrored Shopify testing store environment
● Assist with technology business related tasks occasionally
● Assist with digital marketing related tasks occasionally
Experience
These requirements are required for this position:
● 5+ years of experience
● Expert in designing, developing, testing, and deploying solutions based on the industry's best practices
● Experience working Shopify Plus themes and development
● Experience customizing the Shopify Plus checkout with checkout extensibility
● Expert in custom Shopify theme development
● Proficiency in working with HTML, CSS/SCSS, Liquid, AJAX, Node.js, JavaScript, and other Shopify related coding languages
● Expertise in JavaScript libraries
● Expert in JSON data
● Proficient of web accessibility and the fundamentals
● A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility
● Expert in responsive web design techniques
● Experience in integrating API/web services
● Excellent verbal communication skills
● Bonus: experience with Shopify Markets and other international expansion tools
● Bonus: custom coded email template development

Pay range = $90K-$115K/year
