About the Role
As a Jobsite Inventory Specialist at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in maintaining the seamless flow of materials to support modular installation, finishing, and construction activities. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with both on-site and off-site teams to ensure inventory is tracked, stored, and distributed efficiently. You’ll directly contribute to minimizing project delays, controlling material costs, and supporting jobsite productivity.
You will collaborate with project managers, construction crews, and the off-site manufacturing warehouse, ensuring that inventory is accurately recorded, staged, and delivered where and when it’s needed. This is a full-time, onsite role located at our jobsites, working primarily outdoors in a dynamic construction environment.

What You’ll Do
Receives and records inbound materials, tools, and supplies in ERP and other systems
Maintains accurate inventory records in ERP (non-auto consumables) and Smartsheet (auto consumables)
Collaborates with the purchasing team to resolve PO discrepancies and ensure correct data entry
Conducts weekly cycle counts and monthly full inventory counts to maintain system accuracy
Coordinates material distribution with site supervisors to meet construction needs
Ensures proper storage, staging, and secure handling of all inventory
Documents all inventory movement for audit and quality control purposes
Partners with procurement and plant teams to replace damaged or missing materials
Schedules and manages restocking of site-required materials
Monitors inventory usage to prevent stockouts or overages
Identifies process improvement opportunities to reduce waste and boost jobsite efficiency
Performs other duties as assigned
Who You Are
2+ years of experience in inventory control, materials handling, or warehousing—preferably in construction or manufacturing
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proficient with ERP systems and inventory software
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong analytical and communication skills
Team-oriented with excellent collaboration abilities
Eligible to work in the United States
Valid driver’s license; forklift or pallet jack operation is a plus
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors, and navigate an active construction site

Below is the expected base salary range for this position. This is a good-faith estimate, and offers will be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and interview performance.
