Site Project Manager - Commercial Construction
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Project Manager to oversee a single commercial construction project within one hour of Minot, North Dakota. This role reports directly to the company owner and offers the opportunity to manage all aspects of a significant commercial build from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial construction project from inception to completion
- Ensure work quality and adherence to company and client guidelines
- Conduct safety meetings for subcontractors and enforce company safety policies
- Coordinate with subcontractors, utility service providers, and project stakeholders
- Maintain and update construction schedules on a weekly basis
- Provide regular progress reports on billing, timeline, and subcontractor performance
- Review construction documents including plans, specifications, and shop drawings
- Handle problem-solving and conflict resolution as needed
Required Qualifications
- 10 years minimum construction management experience
- Extensive commercial construction background working as/with a General Contractor
- Experience with ground-up commercial construction projects
- Proficiency in construction-related software (Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications
- Understanding of commercial construction means and methods
- Knowledge of owner-architect-contractor documentation processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
- Healthcare/medical project experience
- Bilingual capabilities
- Previous "traveling" project manager experience
