Job Description

Position Title: Security & Parking Lot Personnel

Reports To:  Base Operations Manager, Assistant Director, MOD and General Manager

Summary of Position

Security & Parking Lot Personnel are responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all guests and team members at Ski Apache. This role includes monitoring parking areas, assisting with traffic flow, enforcing safety protocols, and providing visible security presence across resort grounds. Team members must demonstrate professionalism, situational awareness, and a guest-focused attitude while upholding IMGR&C standards.

  • Reports all situations to Supervisor or Manager where resort grounds or equipment do not meet IMGR&C standards.

  1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:
  • Monitor and patrol parking lots and resort grounds.
  • Direct traffic and assist with guest parking.
  • Provide visible security presence and respond to incidents.
  • Support guest arrival and departure flow.
  • Assist with lost-and-found, guest inquiries, and emergency coordination.
  • Follow all IMGR&C policies and procedures.
  • Ticketing checking
  • Snow shoveling
  • Rentals help
  • Other duties as assigned
  1. Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and take direction.
  • Prior security or guest services experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates IMGR&C values: Accountability, Productivity, Acceptance, Communication, Hospitality, Enthusiasm.
  1. Physical Demands
  • Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and use of hands.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in cold, windy, and inclement weather conditions.
  1. Work Environment
  • Exposure to outdoor winter conditions and variable terrain.
  • Moderate to high noise levels during peak hours.
  • May include weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
