Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains all hospital campus, clinics, outlying properties including but not limited to grounds, including park and all landscape areas
• Working knowledge and upkeep, vehicles - service and cleaning, equipment maintenance
• Sprinkler system
• General maintenance duties

Requirements:

• Valid IA driver's license
• Must be a caring communicator and have a positive, team-player attitude
• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Flexibility to work before or after hours for snow events or off hour projects

Schedule:

• 72 hours a pay period
• M-F, 7a-3:30p
• On-call every 9 weeks
• The schedule will fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
