About the ASPIRE Center
ASPIRE advances equity in sexual and reproductive health through research, education, and policy. We work to dismantle systemic barriers affecting BIPOC communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, young people, and people with disabilities.
About the Role
PPLM’s Social Science Research Program is seeking two interns to support participant recruitment and data collection for two research studies: EnPIRHE and ISTAR. These studies are expanding to our Worcester Health Center, with ongoing work at our Boston location.
Interns will gain hands-on experience in public health research, contribute to meaningful projects, and engage in professional development activities such as journal clubs and methodological trainings.
This internship will require 10-20 hours per week and is expected to run through May 2026 (with flexibility).
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and enroll participants at Boston and Worcester clinics
- Support participants in completing surveys using RedCap
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow study protocols
- Conduct informed consent procedures
- Attend team meetings and trainings
- Participate in optional qualitative data collection
- Travel between Boston and Worcester may be required
Qualifications:

- Prior research or clinical experience (not required)
- Familiarity with RedCap
