Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.
SWE-2 Qualifications:
Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an• accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and• contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.• OR• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or• university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope,• type, and complexity• OR• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and• complexity.
Position Required Skills:- Experience using the Linux CLI- Experience using Linux tools and developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes- Recent software development experience using Python- Willingness to learn Splunk for data collection, message brokers, data storage, andpresentation tools- Familiar interfacing with Log Management tools including Syslog-ng and rsyslog- Familiar Message Brokers such as Kafka- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools includingAnsible- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI- Experience with Git Source Control System
Position Desired Skills:- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)- Experience with Elasticsearch
