Apply today.TransCore (TCI), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer II for our TransSuite development team in Peachtree Corners (Atlanta Metropolitan Area), GA.Join the team in our office at the Technology Park, located near the Curiosity Lab in Peachtree Corners, and work on strong, high-performance back-end software for our web-based Intelligent Transportation Systems solutions, including our TransSuite suite of traffic management systems.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Responsible for coding the execution of complex designs and interactions that reflect the creative and art direction provided within the established technical frameworkDemonstratable skills in design, implementing and testing software modulesAble to perform high quality work, both independently and with a teamAuthor technical design documentation that fully define all application code and the underlying methodology for the design decisions madeProvide accurate resource estimates, timelines, and forecasts for development activitiesUse and enforce best practices for code repositories and version control
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.3-5 years of relevant experience.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Strong knowledge of web UI development in JS and/or Angular.Understanding of .NET back end and web.
Desired Skills and Knowledge
Experience in programming with Typescript.Knowledge in SOAP, XML, JSON, Web Sockets, RESTful services, or similar technologies.C#/.NET experience.
Work arrangement: This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to align with the team's established in-office schedule.Physical Demands/Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time.
