Lockheed Martin Space in White Sands Missile

Range, NM, is seeking a full-time Early Career

Spacecraft/Satellite Flight Operations TS/SCI. In

this role, you may support a 24/7 crew or direct

support day staff position within Flight

Operations. You must be willing to work rotating

shifts to be considered. We will train you through

an extensive education and certification program

to utilize your current engineering skills in

support of an important customer mission. The

successful candidate will build upon their current

engineering skills with an extensive education

and certification program to enhance your

current skills in support of an important

customer mission.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a

government security clearance. This position is

located at a facility that requires special access.

Ability to obtain TS/SCI required for this role.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology,

Engineering, Arts, or Mathematics (STEAM) or

related area such as Engineering, Physics,

Mathematics, Computer Science, Business,

Communication, Education, or related fields.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and

written

Ability to support a rotating schedule

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a

team environment

Due to nature of work, candidate should have a

willingness to learn and apply critical thinking to

obtain and maintain certification/qualification as

a majority of training will be On The Job (OTJ).

Applicants selected will be subject to a

government security investigation and must

meet eligibility requirements for access to

classified information, including US Citizenship.

Experience working with on-orbit spacecraft or

satellite flight operations.

Familiarity in one of the following: LINUX,

MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML,

or XML.

Understanding of software / hardware

infrastructure, middleware, and system

architectures.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Rotating 40 hour week as assigned by leader
