Now Hiring: Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Portland Area Schools
Position: Special Education Teacher (SPED)Location: Portland area schools (In-person only – no virtual work)Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/weekStart Date: ASAPDuration: Through December, with possibility of extensionPay: $57/hour
Details:
- Must hold Oregon certification
- Comfortable working with K-2 students
- Experience with IEPs, classroom management, and social-emotional skill development
- Will be floated between school sites as needed
- Students primarily have Autism profiles; program focuses on communication and behavior support
- Option to serve as a case manager/IEP writer to support multiple classrooms
Requirements:
- Oregon-certified Special Education teacher
- In-person availability only
- Flexible and able to support multiple classrooms
