Your Role as a Teacher at Elim
In this role, you’ll make a lasting impact each day by:
Supporting students in reaching individualized learning goals and celebrating their progress
Creating a safe, positive, and encouraging classroom environment
Implementing and supporting Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Using specialized strategies to support students with complex sensory, behavioral, and communication needs
Leading with kindness and clarity while collaborating with paraprofessionals in your classroom

ScheduleMonday–Friday, 8:15 AM–3:15 PM(Includes a 6-week Extended School Year program as part of the salary)
Starting Salary$67,739–$73,479 (based on experience and education)⨠$2,500 sign-on bonus included!

What You’ll Need
Degree or licensure in Special Education (LBS1)
Current Illinois teaching license with PEL(Candidates nearing completion of degree or licensure are encouraged to apply.)
