Job Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Security team at our Marsh. This role will be based in New York, NY. This is a in Onsite Role.
The Armed Security Officer will provide armed protection and security services primarily on the executive floor of our Corporate Headquarters, as well as other key areas including the Café, building lobby, and exterior perimeter. The role involves coordination with the Global Security Department and supporting security at on-site and off-site corporate events.
We will count on you to:
- Provide general security and maintain a visible security presence on the executive floor, screening all guests and visitors.
- Work closely with executive receptionists to welcome guests and escort VIPs to meetings.
- Monitor security CCTV cameras and review visitation lists to identify potential security concerns.
- Conduct periodic patrols and respond promptly to duress alarms and other security incidents.
- Participate as a member of the 44th floor Fire Warden Team and assist with emergency evacuations and safety protocols.
- Support the Global Security Department with incident reporting, internal investigations, and security coverage for events on and off premises.
What you need to have:
- Minimum 10 years of law enforcement experience preferred, or equivalent corporate security experience.
- Valid HR 218 license and NYS Armed Security Guard License.
- Ability to carry and maintain proficiency with a firearm.
- U.S. citizenship and a valid driver's license with a clear record.
- Capability to work long shifts standing for 8-10 hours at a fixed post.

- Prior experience in law enforcement, military, government, or certified civilian security roles.
- Educational degree preferred.
- Experience providing protection practices for at least 5 years.
