🖌️ Specialty Art Instructors (Various Mediums)
Mediums Needed: Jewelry Making | Acrylic Painting | Photography | Ceramics | Pottery | Drawing | Watercolor | Fiber Arts | Mixed Media | Book Arts | Leatherwork | Woodworking
Location: Valor Point, Lakewood, COHours: Wednesdays 3:00 PM–5:00 PM (4-week rotations)
About the Role: Augustine Angels is building a dynamic team of local artists and instructors to teach hands-on art workshops for veterans in recovery. Each instructor will lead a 4-week course in their area of expertise, introducing techniques, creative process, and self-expression through art.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, step-by-step art sessions
- Bring all necessary materials (VA provides kiln/molds for ceramics)
- Create a welcoming, encouraging environment for learners
- Maintain class records and attendance logs
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more mediums
- Prior teaching or workshop facilitation experience preferred
- Passion for supporting veterans and fostering creativity
- Ability to pass VA background check

Compensation: $40.00 per hour
