About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Riverside, CA

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Riverside, CA
• Schedule: Weekdays 3pm onwards
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
• Focus Area: Foundational Literacy and Math

Ideal Candidate:

• Background in special education, with experience supporting students with Autism and ADHD
• Holds or is working toward a Special Education teaching credential (preferred)
• Familiarity with IEP-driven instruction and classroom accommodations
• Skilled in managing attention challenges and providing frequent redirection
• Able to adapt instruction to support literacy delays, including decoding and spelling challenges
• Comfortable using multi-sensory and visual learning techniques for both reading and math
• Patient, consistent, and creative in using student interests as learning motivators
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families and support learning consistency

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized academic instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Use multi-sensory, evidence-based strategies for reading and math
• Support attention and engagement through structured sessions and clear routines
• Incorporate motivating rewards and break strategies as needed
• Track progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Communicate regularly with caregivers to share updates and maintain consistency
