Wendell Foster is interested in hiring an energetic Speech Language Pathologist for our Outpatient Services to join the team of #DifferenceMakers!

What matters to us:

  • Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Pathology
  • Kentucky Licensure as required by the Kentucky Board of Examiners for Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology as required by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Assisted Technology Professional (ATP) and vital stem certification preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Currently possess or able to complete first aid and CPR certification (training provided)
  • Communicate well with others, including staff and our individuals
  • Diagnose and evaluate speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors, including but not limited to: 1. Administer, score, and interpret specialized hearing screenings, swallowing, and speech/language tests. 2. Evaluate and monitor individuals for appropriate service needs per policy
