Salary Range

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of patients with laryngology-related conditions. This role emphasizes delivering evidence-based care to individuals with speech, voice, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will work collaboratively with Dr. Lerner, Laryngologist, at Greenwich Hospital's Holly Hill location. In addition to providing direct support to Dr. Lerner, the SLP will manage their own patient caseload and actively participate in a multidisciplinary clinic alongside our laryngologist.
Required Skills and Abilities
Candidates should have specialty training and experience in the treatment of voice disorders, including phono traumatic injury, neurological voice disorders, and care of the professional voice.
Experience working with children and/or adults depending on the assigned setting.
Ability to understand and relate to patients emotional and psychological needs.
Ability to analyze patient assessments and treatment outcomes.
Proficiency in conducting and interpreting instrumental swallowing assessments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.

- Able to interpret physician referrals to perform basic clinical evaluations. 2. Demonstrates technical skill and accuracy in performing evaluation, treatment planning and providing therapy, performed consistent with demonstrated knowledge of developmental stages and age-specific criteria. 3. Develops population specific treatment programs that reflect compliance with established clinical protocols where appropriate, monitors patient responses and terminates treatments when appropriate. 4. Sets functional, measurable and appropriate goals based upon evaluation findings, and which reflect patient/family involvement. 5. Provides comprehensive and appropriate patient and family education. 6. Constructive, collaborative participation in team conferences/rounds/clinics/discharge planning. 7. Initiates discharge planning and makes appropriate recommendations to community resources.
Required Education and Experience
Master's degree in speech language pathology and 2 years of relevant experience.
Required Licenses and Certifications
Certification by American Speech-Language- Hearing Association (ASHA) for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Eligible for CT licensure
Preferred Education and Experience
Minimum of one year of experience in an academic/large medical center based practice preferred.
