Position Overview:
- This internship supports the Innovation and Growth team to bring focus and discipline to the ideation and innovation processes throughout the organization to drive sustainable growth.
- Overall, the intern will make meaningful contributions to the performance and ideation culture by working closely with internal teams to advance ideas through the innovation lifecycle, ultimately delivering quality results that keep Canopy as the premier provider of innovative child and family solutions.
- This intern will assist in implementing new approaches, technologies, and programs that will improve the organization's ability to serve its clients and achieve its mission.
- This role will serve in a unique capacity to support Canopy's staff to fuel innovative efforts by drafting proposals and procedures that may be amended as priorities and circumstances change to align with Canopy's innovative objectives and getting projects across the finish line.
- Students must possess excellent oral and written presentation skills, maturity, self-motivation, and be comfortable working with staff and families with diverse needs.
- Students must be able to integrate into our vibrantly inclusive and passionate team.
- This opportunity is unpaid and for academic credit only.
Internship Program Requirements:
- All interns are required to attend a mandatory 40-hour orientation and training session at the beginning of their internship.
- Business Casual or Clinical Attire
- Established contract with academic institution.
- Minimum 100-hour commitment unless stated otherwise in contract.
- Students must satisfactorily complete goals as outlined by university affiliates and their assigned site supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- Current students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Administration, Social Sciences, and Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Marriage & Family Counseling, or related field.
- Must be enrolled, and in good academic standing, with an accredited academic institution at time of internship.
