Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior IT Manager to lead and optimize our IT operations at our corporate headquarters. This role is responsible for overseeing infrastructure, security, support services, and technology planning, while managing a small team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to driving operational excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day IT operations, ensuring high availability and performance of systems and networks.
  • Manage and mentor a team of direct reports, fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee cybersecurity initiatives, risk management, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee resiliency program, ensuring backup and recovery processes and technology adhere to company requirements
  • Manage vendor relationships, invoicing, and service-level agreements.
  • Plan and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Monitor and report on IT performance metrics and KPIs.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, or related field required, or the equivalent technical training or experience.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISM, CCNP) preferred.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Nutanix AHV), and endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOX).
  • Proficiency in IT service management tools and practices.

Years of Experience

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of managing IT teams and delivering successful technology projects.
  • Experience in a corporate or multi-site environment is highly desirable.
