Job Description
As Sr. Data Engineer I, you'll support enterprise operations by building and maintaining data pipelines, resolving data issues, and supporting audit and compliance efforts. This role will focus on Oracle EBS data structures, interface troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity across mission-critical systems.

What you'll do:
- Design and maintain data pipelines supporting interface and operational data flows
- Analyze and resolve data integrity issues across Oracle EBS and external systems
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and develop data remediation scripts
- Collaborate with interface and audit teams to ensure data traceability and compliance
- Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards for operational visibility
- Support audit readiness by documenting data lineage, access controls, and remediation actions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide technical input on data-related backlog items
- Monitor system performance and support capacity planning through data analysis
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or database development
- Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) data structures and integration
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and data pipeline development
- Experience with data remediation, interface troubleshooting, and RCA documentation
- Familiarity with audit support, data traceability, and compliance reporting
- Supports Swing Shift and on call.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
SALARY RANGE: $125,000 - $155,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
