Job Description Summary
The Senior Project Manager in the Enterprise PMO is responsible for delivering enterprise initiatives that advance Lamb Weston's top strategic priorities. This role leads high-profile, complex, cross-functional projects that are critical to business performance, capacity, cost, growth, and risk mitigation.
The Senior Project Manager partners closely with senior leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, ensure disciplined execution, and provide transparency to leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes. Success in this role requires strong judgment, structured execution, and the ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization while keeping focus on what matters most.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Delivery of Strategic Priorities
Lead high-impact enterprise initiatives aligned to Lamb Weston's strategic priorities, including capacity expansion, supply chain effectiveness, cost optimization, commercial enablement, and enterprise systems
Translate strategic objectives and business cases into clear project plans with defined scope, milestones, dependencies, and success measures
Manage cross-functional teams to deliver commitments on time and within approved funding
Maintain focus on priority outcomes, proactively managing scope, tradeoffs, and constraints
Executive & Stakeholder Partnership
Partner with executive sponsors and senior leaders to clarify objectives, roles, and decision rights
Drive alignment across functions in a matrixed environment, influencing without direct authority
Facilitate discovery sessions, governance forums, and project check ins with concise, decision-oriented materials
Provide clear escalation of risks, issues, and options to enable timely leadership decisions
Governance, Reporting & Performance Management
Apply Enterprise PMO standards for planning, stage gates, risk management, and reporting
Deliver accurate, executive-ready status updates highlighting progress against strategic commitments
Track financials, milestones, dependencies, and key risks across assigned initiatives
Ensure initiatives remain aligned to enterprise priorities, capacity, and sequencing
Value Delivery & Close
Partner with business owners to define success metrics and ensure accountability for outcomes
Support benefits tracking through implementation and transition to operations
Ensure projects are closed with appropriate documentation, lessons learned, and handoff
Portfolio & Capability Enablement
Support portfolio planning and prioritization activities with insight into execution risk and readiness
Identify cross-initiative dependencies and resource constraints impacting strategic delivery
Mentor project managers and teams on enterprise execution expectations and best practices
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Information Systems, or related field OR;
8+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in large organizations
PMP or similar certification
Demonstrated experience delivering initiatives tied to business strategy and executive priorities
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at the executive level
Proven ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and stakeholder expectations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or supply-chain-intensive environments
Experience supporting enterprise systems, manufacturing, or supply chain initiatives
Familiarity with both traditional and hybrid project delivery approaches
