Job Description

Staffing experience preferred

The Temporary Staff Assistant supports the coordination and administration of the temporary staffing program. This role provides clerical, organizational, and customer service support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations for temporary staff and the departments they assist.

• Key Responsibilities• Assist with onboarding of temporary employees (badges, lockers, uniforms, orientation materials).• Support and update temporary staff schedules communication.• Provide general support to temporary staff by answering questions and directing them to the right resources.• Monitor attendance, timecards, audit positions, and shift coverage.• Prepare reports, forms, and communications as needed by HR.• Ensure PPE areas are stocked and organized for temporary staff.• Support supervisors with staffing updates and administrative needs.• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).• Previous experience in HR, staffing coordination, or scheduling strongly preferred.• Strong organizational and time-management skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or scheduling software.• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.• Core Competencies• Attention to detail and accuracy.• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.• Confidentiality and professionalism.• Strong teamwork and customer service orientation.

Support HR and Operations in workforce planning, ensuring coverage during peak periods.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:This position operates in an office environment. Office setting with standard business hours; occasional overtime may be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
