About the Role
As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll set the technical bar and shape the core systems underpinning our research and engineering. You’ll drive high-leverage architectural decisions and mentor engineers across domains. This is a hands-on, principal IC role—not a manager.
Responsibilities
Architect and implement mission-critical systems and infrastructure across the AI stack.
Lead technical design, code quality, and best practices for engineering excellence.
Operate as a multiplier—mentoring, reviewing code, and raising standards.
Tackle the hardest problems in distributed systems, data, and AI engineering.
Requirements
Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) building and scaling complex systems.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, data infrastructure, and backend architecture.
High proficiency in Python plus at least one systems language (Go, Rust, C++).
Track record of technical leadership and mentorship in elite teams.
Relentless pursuit of technical excellence and first-principles problem solving.
