Job Description

Current employee leaving on 12/19. Need to post position ASAP, and hire new employee upon departure of current employee to ensure seamless transition.

Job Summary

Fills daily orders or issues supply items from Main Storeroom to Department units. Sets up and delivers trucks to

designated areas; puts supplies away. Notifies manager of shortages/problems with quality or quantities. Accurately

fills in requisition sheets.

Receives perishable/non-perishable supplies from vendors. Takes temperature of perishable foods before accepting

delivery. Promptly puts items into storage, making sure food is rotated to minimize food waste/spoilage. Plans work

schedule to prioritize prompt refrigeration of perishable items. Ensures that all food/non-food items are properly

stored on pallets/carts. Monitors expiration dates of all products; notifies management of potential inventory loss

due to spoilage. Safely operates power jack to move pallets of food from loading dock to refrigerated areas in the

Ingredient Room.
