Student Laborer - Outdoor Maintenance

Wisconsin Public Service, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Student- Outdoor Maintenance (Student Laborer-Plant/Hydro) in our Kaukauna, Wisconsin location.

This position will start in May or June, works full-time, 6:00am- 4:00pm four days a week with flexibility on Monday- Friday during the summer months.

Job Summary

Student Laborers perform duties (i.e. Indoor Cleaning & Maintenance, Outdoor Maintenance, Clerical/Customer Service, etc.) as assigned by the department. Student laborers work may be performed in the power plants, hydro plants, service center, warehouse, and other field locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Indoor Cleaning & Maintenance (e.g. dusting, sweeping, painting, equipment/facility cleaning & maintenance, unloading & loading warehouse products, garbage removal, general cleaning, etc.)
• Outdoor Maintenance (e.g., painting, basic landscaping, etc.)
• All other laborer duties (e.g. assist maintenance mechanics and instrument electricians, running equipment to field locations, bobcat/forklift functions, errands, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma, GED, or HSED
• Enrolled as a part-time/full-time student pursuing a technical, associate, bachelor, or master degree
• Valid driver's license and meet the company's requirements for driving

Minimum Posting Range: $19.22

Maximum Posting Range: $21.43

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
