Job Summary
Working in a leadership capacity and in collaboration with the manager, provides oversight of operational flow and efficiency, supervision, operations improvement and quality, budget assessment, and policy and procedure review and updates. Also provides highest level clinical radiology technologist duties.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>Yes<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Provide leadership support to manager with operational oversight, quality improvement, operational flow, performance measurement, and implementation of new practices <br>-Supervision of clinical staff, staff scheduling, triage duties, and is a resource to staff <br>
-In collaboration with the manager provides budget design and ongoing assessment <br>
-Assist manager in developing fiscal operating budget, investigating practices to remain within the budget, and assists in variance reporting <br>
-Acts as a liaison between clinical staff, managers, and Radiologists <br>
-Provides highest level clinical radiology technologist duties <br>
-Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards <br>
Qualifications
Education
- Associate's Degree Diagnostic Imaging required or Bachelor's Degree Health Sciences preferred

Licenses and Credentials
- Radiologic Technologist [MA License) required
- Registered Technologist [ARRT-R] American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred
- Heartsaver CPR AED [CPR] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
Experience
- Radiology Technologist experience with multiple patient populations 5-7 years required
- Leadership experience 1-2 years required
