Job Description

"Big Island, Big Moves: Lead the Drive Behind the Scenes!"

Are you ready to steer the wheel of logistics on Hawaii's Big Island? We're looking for a dynamic leader to take charge of our transportation operations-ensuring vehicles move smoothly from auction to pier to dealership and everywhere in between. If you thrive on coordination, communication, and keeping things running like a well-oiled machine, this role is your highway to success.

What You'll Be Driving (Literally and Figuratively):

  • Command the Fleet: Oversee the daily movement of vehicles across the island, ensuring timely pickups, deliveries, and inventory flow.
  • Customer Connector: Be the friendly voice coordinating with clients, dealerships, and pier personnel to keep everyone in the loop.
  • Logistics Maestro: Manage diagnostics, ag wash, defueling, towing, and shipping services-all while meeting strict SLA standards.
  • Team Captain: Lead, schedule, and support transportation staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with Hawaii's Prepaid Healthcare Act.
  • Safety First: Champion monthly safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance across the board.
  • Operations Anchor: Keep the Big Island office humming-handling everything from van maintenance to office leases and internet service.
  • Performance Partner: Collaborate with the Transportation Manager on hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.

Why You'll Love It:

  • You'll be the go-to leader for a critical part of our operations.
  • You'll build strong relationships with customers and colleagues across the island.
  • You'll have the autonomy to make impactful decisions-and the support to back them up.
  • You'll work in a role where no two days are the same, and every day makes a difference.

Perks? You bet:

  • Here's a sneak peek at the benefits you could experience as a Cox employee:
  • Competitive pay with opportunities for sign-on bonuses if applicable.
  • Once you're on board, earn referral bonuses. Amount varies based on job type.
  • 30+ days of paid vacation and company holidays per year (from day 1) for full-time employees because we know you need time to recharge.
  • Great healthcare benefits from day 1. Multiple options are available for individuals and families. One employee only plan could be FREE, if you participate in our health screening program.
  • 10 days of free child or senior care through your complimentary Care.com membership.
  • Generous 401(k) retirement plans with up to 8% company match.
  • Great coworkers who love being part of a team.
