Job Description

Role Purpose:
The Quality Supervisor will implement & improve the local quality program to support our People, Quality, Customer Service, and Cost agenda. This role is responsible for the quality & safety of our products (Food Safety, GMP, GLP, Housekeeping) along with the safety of our team members & guests. This role will coach & develop the quality technicians who support the daily manufacturing process. Partnering cross functionally to achieve shared goals through strong relationships based on trust, respect, & grace.
Accountabilities & Impact:
- Collaborate with quality leadership to create department vision & strategic direction which aligns to the plant & corporate vision.
- Cascades, monitors & measures strategically aligned objectives to the Quality team.
- Perform internal & external benchmarking, analysis, target setting, & publishing of key performance indicators (KPI).
- Ensures Quality, Food Safety, GMP, & GLP, requirements are implemented & verified for effectiveness across all areas of the brewery.
- Participate, train, & drive Food Safety initiatives.
- Represents brewery quality for internal & external stakeholders.
- Identifies & implements manufacturing process improvement opportunities, supporting RCAs as related to Quality Issues.
- Supports & delivers on day-to-day quality requirements
Skills & Experiences Needed:
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM or 5+ years applicable experience.
- 2+ years demonstrated leadership, coaching, & development experience (direct or indirect)
- 2+ years of experience in fast paced, dynamic, or high-pressure environment
- Applied knowledge/experience operating & maintaining laboratory instrumentation preferred (HPLC, Alcolyzer, Auto-titrator, etc.)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, & escalate effectively
- Ability to provide open & honest feedback that will support growth
