OMG23 is the Omnicom Media Group agency dedicated to Walt Disney Studios, Disney+ and Disney's multiple television networks. At OMG23, we have the privilege of partnering with Disney on the planning, buying and implementation of its integrated ad campaigns for some of the entertainment industry's most iconic brands. Our Walt Disney Studios team works on titles that include a wide variety of blockbuster films distributed under the Walt Disney Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century, and Searchlight banners. THE JOB

For the Supervisor, Marketing Science, OMG23 is seeking candidates with 3-5 years of experience in a quantitative data driven field. It is important that candidates have experience tracking, pulling and analyzing data to develop actionable insights utilizing a variety of data tools. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience working on a major brand and working closely with clients to develop a data strategy, reporting templates, and reporting timelines.

The Supervisor, Marketing Science helps manage the day-to-day activities of the group. They must possess excellent active listening skills to understand client needs and validate the strategies, tactics, and execution of paid digital media campaigns. They will work collaboratively with their clients and peers, reporting progress, co-developing strategies, and sharing campaign insights. They will also consistently monitor performance to ensure campaigns are running smoothly and efficiently. Through data-driven insights, they will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a client's marketing strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide business intelligence analytics and research in close concert with the digital platform teams to drive success across all media platforms for the agency and client
  • Lead data extraction and management to generate actionable insights
  • Partner with account leadership to develop insights driven strategies grounded in data aggregated from primary digital analytics platforms and other available 1st and 3rd party data sources
  • Develop effective relationships with key client contacts and business partners, taking lead on data and analytics focused initiatives and communication
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Develop advanced dashboards in visualization tools such as Tableau and Datarama
  • Provide thought leadership of ad-tech, measurement technologies and industry trends

YOU

  • 3-5 years of experience in a quantitative or data-driven field
  • Familiarity with concepts of data visualization
  • A passion for the visualization, insight gathering, and power of data applied to media campaigns
  • Self-starter, capable of setting goals and reporting progress against them
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate clearly when participating in internal and client-facing meetings
  • Attention to detail in a multi-tasking, ability to be agile and adaptable within a quick turnaround business environment
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking
  • Excellent ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Strong organizational navigation with ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Entertainment/Studio background experience or related industry a plus, not required
  • Degree in statistics, economics or a related quantitative field a plus, not required

Desired Technical Skills

  • Experience/familiarity with concepts of database design and SQL
  • Experience in advanced analytics software packages
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Datarama, Data Studio, or another visualization software package
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

This is a hybrid role based in Burbank, CA.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$75,000-$90,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
