Job Description

Mains’l is seeking experienced Direst Support Professionals who are interested in growing into Support Coordinators. As the Support Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Program Manager and Direct Support Professionals to achieve goals of the people supported while providing person-centered care.  The Support Coordinator will be a role model of how direct support is provided and connecting while leading and mentoring the Direct Support Professionals.Location:  Oakdale, St. Paul, MNShift: Dependent on LocationWage: $ 18.50/HRJob Responsibilities
  • Meal planning
  • Grocery shopping
  • Budgeting and managing household bills
  • Scheduling and accompanying individuals to doctor’s appointments
  • Provide Person Centered Supports tailored to the individual needs (including Activities of Daily Living, behavioral supports, coaching through different situations, participating in home and community activities)
  • Managing and administering medications
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team on service plans
  • Documenting care accurately
  • Ensure a safe and structured environment
  • Assisting in scheduling, coaching, and training of Direct Support Professionals
Requirements
  • 1+ Years of DSP or Similar Experience
  • 1 year of Leadership Experience Preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid MN driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation with valid insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check through DHS
