Job Description

Minimum Hiring Wage:

From $20.78 per hour

Job Details:

Scheduled Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm, on call as needed

Job Description:

Coordinate the acquisition, distribution, inventory, repair/replacement and return of specialty instrumentation, supplies, and equipment for the operating

room and endoscopy unit. Perform daily audit of surgical supply and implant charges and correct procedure coding. Ensures compliance of sterile

processing with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Provides for smooth day to day operation within the specialty services. Identifies supply and equipment requests with physicians and staff. Work with

Material Management to maintain adequate and appropriate inventories of supplies. Evaluate new procedures/ products.

Qualifications:

Preferred

Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist school preferred

Experience in a materials-related field, with knowledge of supply distribution, especially in a clinical setting is preferred Five (5) years in the operating room as a surgical technologist

Prefer Surgical Tech certification
