Description

The Office of Student Experience is seeking an energetic, dependable, and passionate Retail Manager to join the Susie's team. This student-run store offers a dynamic environment where the Retail Manager plays a vital role in shaping both the online and in-store shopping experience. The Retail Manager must demonstrate strong leadership skills to guide a team, meet objectives, and collaborate with campus constituents to design and promote merchandise. This role provides valuable experience in retail operations, marketing, leadership, and strategic planning-ideal for students looking to build transferable skills for any career path.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Vice President of Student Experience to create monthly sales goals, promotional opportunities, and merchandising strategies.
  • Provide leadership to all Retail Assistants, including training on store procedures, scheduling, and setting expectations.
  • Collaborate with Creative Ink to develop concept designs based on determined themes.
  • Coordinate photo shoots of new merchandise for social media and website content.
  • Coordinate with the Vice President of Student Experience on merchandise and vendor selection.
  • Operate and maintain knowledge of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, preferably Shopify.
  • Maintain an organized stock room and ensure accurate inventory control.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.
