Job Description
We're looking for a Trainee to join our Sustainable Sourcing team based in Poznań.
Your future team
You will become part of Group SHE, a global function within ROCKWOOL. Our mission is to support the Group and our manufacturing sites across various domains: Safety, Health, Environment, Fire Safety, Sustainable Sourcing, and Business Continuity.
What you will be doing
As a student assistant, you will work 15-20 hours per week from our office in Poznan, Poland. We will tailor the working hours to accommodate your studies, although there may be times when we will need your flexibility to meet deadlines and collaborate with colleagues across different time zones.
You will take on significant responsibilities and work on a variety of assignments to support colleagues both within Sustainable Sourcing and across the other domains of the SHE department.
Your role will include:
- Analyzing data from our Supply Chain Risk Management tool to help monitor, assessing and visualizing risks in our supplier base.
- Supporting while performing our Supplier Questionnaires, including updating list of senders and helping translate results into clear insights for relevant stakeholders.
- Contributing to SHE Department reporting activities by preparing structured overviews and simple dashboards in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Assisting with maintaining and improving sustainability-related data in close collaboration with colleagues from SHE department.
- Supporting in organizing network meetings with the Health and Safety OPCOs and factory organization, sending invites, preparing agenda and consolidating the minutes of meeting.
- Supporting regular follow ups on Health and Safety Alerts and reports and well as on leading indicators.
- Supporting and execute migration of Health and Safety training from Power Point to eLearning (Rock Academy)
We provide on-the-job training, allowing you to gain relevant experience while maintaining the independence to work autonomously.
What you bring
- You have just started your master's studies or are in the final year of your bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. ESG, environmental/social sciences, sustainability engineering) - you must have a minimum of one year of study ahead of you
- Interest in sustainability and/or responsible sourcing
- Proficient written and spoken English
- Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytical and structured mindset and you're comfortable working with data
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
