Job Description

The Senior Vice President of Technology serves as a key enterprise leader responsible for defining and executing the organization's long-term technology strategy and innovation roadmap. This role drives digital transformation, operational excellence, and scalable technology solutions that align with corporate objectives and deliver measurable business value. As a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, the SVP provides strategic direction across all technology domains, cultivates a culture of continuous innovation, and positions the organization to lead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and execution of the enterprise-wide technology strategy, ensuring full alignment with organizational goals and long-term business vision
  • Provide executive oversight of IT operations, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, application support, and enterprise architecture
  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of technology solutions across shared business units, ensuring performance, scalability, and security at scale
  • Build, inspire, and lead high-performing technology teams—including engineering, infrastructure, and support—to deliver innovative, business-enabling solutions
  • Govern enterprise IT initiatives through structured change management and governance frameworks, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum value delivery
  • Oversee the stability, security, and modernization of IT infrastructure, enabling business growth and operational resilience
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical leaders to identify emerging needs and deliver scalable, forward-thinking technology solutions
  • Ensure robust management of enterprise IT environments, including network architecture, cloud platforms, on-prem infrastructure, and security protocols
  • Deliver transparent reporting to executive leadership on KPIs, technology project milestones, risk mitigation strategies, and operational performance
  • Strategically manage vendor partnerships and third-party service providers to optimize service delivery, integration, and cost-effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, including oversight of enterprise-wide IT operations and strategic initiatives
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing large-scale enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MRP) in complex business environments
  • 3+ years of industry experience in manufacturing and retail sales, leveraging technology to streamline operations and drive business performance
  • Proven track record in senior-level technology leadership roles with deep expertise across cybersecurity, enterprise applications, infrastructure, and systems architecture
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a history of building and mentoring high-performing, cross-functional technical teams
  • Deep knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, with a focus on service delivery excellence and continuous improvement
  • Advanced proficiency in virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and enterprise systems administration
  • Strong background in network architecture, infrastructure security, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience implementing automation, monitoring, and optimization tools and technologies (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible) to enhance operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, improve technology operations, and align IT strategy with overall business objectives

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Experience in manufacturing environments preferred 
  • Experience with Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics and/or Epicore systems 
  • Experience in PHP Programming, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, databases 
  • Demonstrates long-term thinking with the ability to adapt and pivot as needed. 
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines 
  • Experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma processes 
  • Website management, hosting and development experience
