If you are a highly motivated individual who enjoys a challenging and dynamic environment where your contributions are both critical and valued, this company will provide you the tools and opportunity to thrive.The System Engineer provides tier 2 and 3 system support. They assist the Government by providing large scale computer systems for hardware failures and applicable optimizations. Additionally, they provide management of board processes which include on-site and off-site depot coordination, troubleshooting and fault isolation.Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ full scope polygraph
- Ability to support large scale computer system assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and shipping
- Ability to monitor, track, and provide status/alerts to support teams when issues arise
- Experience providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 system support.
- Experience with system and component assembly, disassembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and shipping.
- Experience performing unit testing, life-cycle support, and transition to operations.
- Ability to monitor the health and operational capability of large-scale computer systems using Government-provided tools, including power, cooling, and applications.
- Ability to detect hardware or application failures via system monitoring tools and status screens.
- Experience troubleshooting and isolating hardware and system faults.
- Ability to assist with software upgrades and support maintenance teams with software defect troubleshooting as directed by the Government.
- Ability to provide daily pass-down reports, track daily metrics, and submit monthly status reports.
- Ability to interface with Government and contractor facilities personnel to ensure continuous system operations.
- Strong documentation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to participate in required familiarization training and team integration meetings.
