Job Description
Summer 2026 Frontier Cooperative Talent Acquisition Internship.
Frontier Cooperative is an agriculture leader in Nebraska providing grain, agronomy, feed and energy products and services to our customers. At Frontier, we have a long-standing tradition of successful partnerships with our customers by managing our business with the highest integrity and quality while being responsible stewards in our communities.
Essential duties:
- Recruiting job seekers and inviting them to apply to job opportunities, screening candidates through phone interviews, participating in, in person interviews, making job offers, and completing new hire letters.
- Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, and networking events.
- Brainstorm strategic ways to engage with and educate students at the high school and college level about Frontier Cooperative and career building opportunities.
- Work with the Director of Talent to post open positions internally and externally using the current talent acquisition software system.
- Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
- Provide feedback to management about details regarding applications.
- Using standardized screening techniques, assess skills, qualifications, and experience of potential candidates.
- Work closely with management to ensure Frontier Cooperative follows all federal and state laws pertaining to hiring processes ensure fairness to all applicants.
Job skills and requirements:
- An interest in the agricultural industry
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Human Resources, or a related field
- Experience using social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (creative writing, polished verbal communication skills)
- Organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, ability to collaborate with a team, as well as work on projects solo
- A willingness to spend time learning about the cooperative system and each of the business units of Frontier Cooperative
- The ability to work in a professional office environment
- Valid Driver's License and ability to travel within our business footprint
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change
