Job Description Summary

The Talent Development Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs that enhance the skills, performance, and growth of employees across the organization. This role plays a critical part in building a high-performance culture by identifying talent needs, facilitating leadership development, and supporting career progression strategies aligned

with the company’s goals and values

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•Partners with various business leaders and HR/OD colleagues to create organization wide development frameworks and solutions (e.g. Career Development toolkit, Peer Mentorship Program, internship program, onboarding efforts, lunch-n-learns, etc.) that enhance the Associate experience, enable career development, and drive individual performance.

• Develops and delivers workshops (and other solutions) to enable strong team performance and dynamics. Provides individualized team-based coaching and consultation in partnership with the HRMs as needed.

• Collaborates with appropriate parties to spearhead the development, execution, and management of targeted high potential development programs to accelerate talent readiness and capabilities for the future.

• Supports ongoing succession efforts by partnering with executive leaders/HRM team to create meaningful individual development plans and opportunities for key talent.

• Stays up to date on current trends while also leveraging technology to track progress and measure impact

Must be located in Dallas, Texas and able to work onsite 4 days per week.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree Psychology, Business or Human Resources preferred

5+ Years Creating and facilitating development workshops and other solutions

5+ Years Communicating to cross-functional audiences in differing formats

5+ Years Managing large-scale or complex projects/programs

5+ Years Consulting with business leaders to identify talent needs and solutions

5+ Years Providing individualized coaching experiences

5+ Years Experience leveraging assessments for development

CRITICAL SKILLS

• Ability to influence and partner with all levels of Associates and leaders

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills

• Demonstrated success in delivering and managing complex projects and programs from start to finish in a dynamic, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment

• Analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Continuous improvement mindset: ability to generate innovative solutions

• Strong team player with an extensive track record of collaborating across cross-functional teams

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Travel Requirements

10% Occasional travel to support the execution of OD programs and initiatives (e.g. team workshop facilitation)
