Talent Lead (Bay Area / Paris)

What You’ll Do

• Act as the talent partner to the founders to build the multi-disciplinary dream team who will build general-purpose Physical AI — think about sourcing and closing world-class candidates every minute of every day together

• Define niche technical roles, ideal profiles, interview loops, and closing plans in close partnership with the founders

• Design and execute strategic sourcing plans to map talent and drive top-of-funnel through creative and precisely targeted outreach and events

• Own the candidate experience end-to-end — from first email to signed offer — with fast turnaround and a high-touch, high-trust approach

• Be the first impression: pitch Genesis with clarity, authenticity, and energy

• Build and maintain a strong network of top research and engineering talent in niche technical topics like physics simulation, rendering, robotics, and foundation models across SF and Paris

What You’ll Bring

• Passion for building a world-class team to accomplish an important mission from zero to one

• 8+ years of experience hiring exceptional technical talent, ideally in early-stage, fast-growing startups, with a track record of success in competitive, niche markets — and building a culture where everyone is deeply involved in hiring

• Curiosity and drive to learn deeply technical topics by partnering with a multi-disciplinary team, enabling precise sourcing and credible pitching

• Relentless work ethic and scrappiness — excited to grind to build a dream team from scratch, and energized by the hunt

• Extreme organizational skills — able to juggle priorities, stay on top of everything, and uphold Genesis to the highest recruiting standards on the planet

• Ability to travel regularly between Paris and the Bay Area to work with teams on the ground
