We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Accountant to join our growing public accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities, as well as providing strategic tax planning and compliance support to clients. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of industries and tax situations.
This role is fully onsite
Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profit organizations.
- Review tax returns prepared by junior staff for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law changes and IRS regulations.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liability and maximize compliance.
- Communicate with clients regarding tax notices, questions, and planning opportunities.
