- Expected salary range: $152,915 to $170,905 USD
- Lead preparation, review, and timely filing of all U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns, provisions, and compliance obligations, while monitoring tax legislation changes and assessing operational impacts
- Direct international tax compliance across U.K. and global entities, working with external advisors to ensure accurate filings, registrations, and statutory requirements across all jurisdictions
- Lead global transfer pricing strategy, documentation, and compliance with IRS, OECD, and local rules, including intercompany transaction oversight, year-end reconciliations, and audit defense
- Develop tax strategies and optimization opportunities across jurisdictions, conduct M&A tax due diligence, and assess impacts of new legislation on operations while identifying and communicating tax risks
- Manage relationships with tax authorities, external auditors, and consultants, coordinating year-end working papers, reviewing externally prepared returns, and serving as primary contact for tax audits and inquiries
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA, CA, or advanced degree (Master's in Taxation, MBA) strongly preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian and U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws, including corporate income tax, sales tax, commodity taxes, and multi-state compliance strategies
- Strong understanding of transfer pricing methodologies, documentation requirements, and cross-border tax implications, with experience in tax provisions and deferred tax accounting under IFRS
- Proven experience conducting M&A tax due diligence, managing tax authority examinations, and coordinating with external auditors
- Ability to analyze complex tax legislation, develop optimization strategies, forecast taxable income, and provide recommendations for tax minimization and risk mitigation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to coordinate cross-functionally, manage external advisors, and explain technical tax matters to non-tax stakeholders
- Full time, in office position
- Majority of workday sitting or standing at a computer workstation
