Position Summary:
Your Impact (Essential Duties):Review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns; prepare highly complex returns as neededFoster and develop meaningful client relationships, addressing tax issues and coordinating related entity filingsPerform detailed reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality workReview quarterly and annual accounting procedures to support tax preparationAnalyze organizational structures for tax impacts and ensure accurate filingsPrepare estimated tax liabilities and provide strategic tax planningSupervise, train, and mentor team members, conducting regular performance reviewsResearch and document complex tax issues, presenting guidance and solutionsCommunicate tax planning solutions with clients and other professionals involved in the client relationshipCommunicate effectively with clients and team members on projects and deadlinesContribute to team efforts and participate in ongoing professional development; stay updated on tax laws and best practicesManage engagements, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesPerform other duties and displays flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivityYour Background:5-10 years of experience in tax preparationCPA license or eligibleBachelor’s degree in accounting or related fieldExpertise in tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirementsAbility to adapt to tax law changes and provide strategic tax planningProficiency in tax preparation software and related toolsStrong leadership, communication, and mentoring skillsExcellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesHigh attention to detail and accuracy in financial and tax workAnalytical skills to address and resolve complex tax issuesFull-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines
