Teaching Assistant – Child Care Professional Full-Time | No Weekends or Holidays | Fun, Purpose-Driven Environment Location: Louisville, KY Company: Sproutlings Pediatric Day Care & Preschool – On the Masonic Homes Kentucky Campus Support Young Learners in a Unique and Caring Environment Sproutlings is a one-of-a-kind pediatric day care and preschool offering both traditional early childhood education and Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) services for medically fragile children. We’re seeking committed, compassionate childcare professionals who are ready to make a lasting impact. Whether working with our traditional or medically fragile students, your role as a Teaching Assistant will help shape a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where every child can thrive. Why you’ll love working at Sproutlings: no weekends or holidays daily walks on the beautiful Masonic Homes Kentucky Louisville campus fun, upbeat culture with themed days like pajama day, Spirit week and Christmas in July collaborative and supportive team environment making a difference in both preschool and pediatric care settings What you’ll do: As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support the lead teacher and classroom by: assisting with daily lessons and structured play activities working one-on-one or with small groups of children preparing lesson materials and educational tools ensuring the classroom is clean, safe, and stimulating supervising children at all times and ensuring a secure environment providing positive guidance and implementing behavior policies supporting hygiene, nap times, and nutritious meals/snacks participating in songs, stories, and sensory play following all emergency procedures and safety policies contributing to a developmentally appropriate and inclusive classroom What you’ll bring: experience as a childcare assistant or classroom/teaching aide a passion for working with children of all abilities strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills ability to work independently and collaboratively a high level of patience, empathy, and enthusiasm willingness to learn and follow all policies, including state licensing regulations successful completion of prescreening hiring requirements
