Tech Lead, Financial ERP

IT Corporate is a Nordic IT unit with close to 60 employees and consultants divided into three teams. We are responsible for systems and IT solutions for If's corporate units such as Accounting, Cash Management, Marketing, Legal and HR. To strengthen our support for ongoing business and tech transformation, we are seeking a passionate Tech lead and system specialist to support the implementation of new Financial-ERP (Workday).

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead with experience in cloud-based Financial ERP implementations. The role includes acting as a technical facilitator for a subset of the affected end-to-end business processes in the implementation of a new financial ERP system, ensuring seamless process flows, both from a technical and functional perspective.

Responsibilities include coordinating and working hands-on with the configuration of the new ERP solution within the scope of the business processes in question. The role includes leading technical teams in the implementation as well as participating in the future life cycle management for the ERP platform.

The role will be pivotal in the ERP implementation program and the life cycle management of the platform, ensuring end-to-end process functionality and alignment for key business functions within the Finance & Accounting area. The work will be executed in close collaboration with key stakeholders of the Financial ERP program, including business stakeholders, product owners, business architects, process and integration specialists, developers, and system integrator resources (functional leads, solution architects, etc.).

In this role, you will:

• Support and contribute to pre-studies and assessments for the implementation of Workday, the selected cloud-based Financial ERP system, providing insights and recommendations for successful deployment.

• Support and contribute to integration efforts between the Financial ERP system and other applications, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.

• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions, enhancing Financial ERP functionalities and process efficiency.

• Drive change management initiatives, including training and knowledge transfers, to foster a shift in mindset and behaviors across business and technical teams, ensuring effective adaptation of new technologies, work methods, and modern/standardized processes.

You also have:

• Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Effective communication skills to work closely with business stakeholders and ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.

• Extensive experience with ERP systems, including configuration and customization. Experience with Workday is highly meriting.

• The ability to coordinate with System Integrators and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

• Proven experience in change management and driving organizational change, with a focus on fostering a shift in mindset and behaviors to support new technologies and processes.

• Strong organizational skills to manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of solution.

About the team

IT Corporate offers work in modern IT environment where it is possible to combine work in maintenance with new development projects. Our technical environment includes several platforms, and our applications support many different functions and processes. We have in-depth knowledge, not only in programming and system development, but also in project management, requirements handling and test management. We work in close collaboration with the customer, and there is an opportunity to work with several customers and different applications. In this team you'll get the chance to work in both smaller and larger development projects.
