GEO-sponsored public charter schools are high academic growth schools and feature a unique K-14 model--full day kindergarten all the way through two years of college. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

The Technical Support Agent position is an entry level position that supports staff laptops, student Chromebooks, printers, phones, and basic network component. They will be required to perform the following:

  • Assist students, parents, and teachers with various Chromebook or Windows laptop issues over the phone or in person.
  • Manage user accounts in both Chrome Admin and Microsoft Entra
  • Basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues for Chromebooks and Windows Laptops
  • Basic troubleshooting of printers, phones and network components
  • Use a ticketing system for accountability and customer service
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service to staff, students, and parents
  • Maintain ongoing inventory and maintain organization of all technology related devices
  • Be cheerfully willing to work towards the better good of the school at times even when asked to assist with duties not in your regular work schedule
  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings
  • Attend designated school functions outside of school hours if asked
  • Follow the GEO Foundation and school policies and procedures.
  • Dress professionally when on school grounds

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have proven customer service experience
  • Must have organization skills
  • Must be able to work with Chromebooks
  • Must be able to work with Windows laptops
  • Must be able to use basic features of Microsoft Entra
  • Must have basic understanding of networking
  • Must have basic understanding of printing
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to work outside normal hours or work week occasionally
  • Must have critical thinking skills and ability to research issues
