Job Description
Infleqtion is a global leader in neutral-atom quantum technology. We design and build quantum computers, precision sensors, and quantum software for governments, enterprises, and research institutions. Our commercial portfolio includes quantum computers as well as quantum RF systems, quantum clocks, and inertial navigation solutions. Infleqtion is the partner of choice for governments and commercial customers seeking cutting-edge quantum capabilities.
Position Overview
Infleqtion is poised for significant growth as we prepare for our transition to a publicly traded company. We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Technical Accounting Manager to join our accounting and finance organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting, this individual will be a key player in building a world-class public company reporting infrastructure.
This is a unique opportunity to be a foundational member of our finance team, building the policies and infrastructure that will support our growth as a public entity. The ideal candidate will research, analyze, and document complex accounting issues and ensure new accounting standards are implemented effectively across the organization. This role will be a critical partner in our transition from a private to a public company.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and conclude on complex accounting issues in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance.
- Draft comprehensive technical accounting memos to document the Company's positions on significant transactions and policies.
- Monitor and lead the implementation of new accounting standards from the FASB and SEC, including developing training materials and updating policies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize new accounting treatments and support business initiatives.
- Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosures, with a focus on ensuring compliance with SEC reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors to support the audit process, providing technical analysis and documentation as needed.
- Assist with IPO readiness and SOX 404 compliance initiatives, including documenting internal controls.
