Temporary Class B Driver

Position SummaryAt Securis, you can help us drive sustainability, even for a short time. We are currently seeking an experienced Class B driver for a temporary 30-day assignment supporting our growing Service team.

The ideal candidate has an excellent driving record and strong customer service skills. In this role, you will operate a Class B box truck and interact regularly with our valued clients and vendors.

This is a temporary, full-time role for approximately 30 days, working Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Actual start and end times may vary based on daily job needs. Occasional overtime or overnight travel may be required depending on project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to and from the customer locations
• Interact with customers in a professional manner
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the warehouse and commercial vehicles
• Load and unload trucks before and at the completion of a given project. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Maintain the physical security protocols we have in place and ensures others follow said protocols
• Use electronic scanning equipment to log equipment into Securis' proprietary inventory system
• Attend and participates in weekly operations meetings
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

 Equipment

• Forklift
• Pallet Jack
• Metal destruction machine
• Class B Box Truck

Experience

• Class B driving experience (two years preferred)
• Must hold an active Class B CDL and up-to-date driver medical card
• Warehouse and customer service experience strongly preferred

Computer Skills

• Knowledge of basic software like Microsoft is required

Educational Background

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
