Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Giving and taking report.
- Administer all oral medications and document all routinely prescribed medications in tenant’s chart.
- Take and record Vital Signs.
- Assist tenants with:
- Bathing
- Cooking
- Cleaning tenant’s apartments
- Making beds
- Laundry
- Activities
- Medications, if needed
- Must be able to communicate well with tenants, family members, physicians, and other staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Successfully completed a state-approved school of medication administration CMA and pass skills and written test for Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA)
Continuing Education: As required by state law and regulations
Other: Willing to cooperate with other staff; be aware of limitations and not attempt to exceed these limitations; work with the tenants.
