Position Overview:

The primary function of the Territory Sales Representative is to achieve sales growth and net hearing instrument sales while building, growing, and maintaining customer relationships. Candidates must live within the territory.

Responsibilities:

Sales Related:

  • Achieve the net hearing instrument sales quota on both a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Initiate and conduct outreach to prospective clients to develop new business opportunities.
  • Attend customer meetings, tradeshows, and conferences.
  • Actively manage high-priority customer accounts to strengthen relationships and increase market share.
  • Prepare an annual territory business plan to be reviewed and updated quarterly with the Sales Manager. The plan should include monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and zoning of sales targets within the region.
  • Sales growth to coincide with corporate goals.
  • Work effectively with the Sales Manager in prospecting, developing, and recruiting new customers each month.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and information updates in the CRM system.
  • Work effectively with the Sales Manager in prospecting, developing, and recruiting new customers each month.
  • Regularly update management with accurate sales reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Represent SyncLync at industry trade shows and conferences, requiring travel

Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:

  • Coordinate open accounts receivable between sales, accounting, and the customer, and update the status on the AR document.
  • Proactively contact the customer for updates on payment status and collect payments as needed.
  • Provide W-9, COIs, invoices, etc., as needed to assist with swift and timely payment.

Marginal Job Functions:

  • Other projects as needed.

Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, AuD., or HIS/HAD, or related field preferred

Experience:

  • 3+ years of industry experience in a proven sales role required
  • Experience with sales forecasting, reporting, and performance analytics
  • Knowledge of the hearing aid or healthcare device industry preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM software required; additional experience with industry-related software a plus
  • A valid driver's license is required for local travel
  • Position will be subjected to pre-employment and annual motor vehicle record (mvr) checks. Must be able to successfully pass mvr checks to drive on behalf of the company.
  • 25-50% travel time to customer meetings, tradeshows, and conferences as needed
