Job Description

Position Title: Therapitas Tech

Reports to: Clinical Director

Purpose Statement

The Therapitas Techassists Therapitas in accomplishing our mission by supporting clinical staff and managing basic clinic sanitary procedures. This allows us to minimize sickness in our staff and patients and to more efficiently obtain our desired outcomes in therapy sessions. This position will provide interested individuals, prospective therapy students, or individuals interested in playing a supporting role in our mission with a first look into the therapy world as well as support meaningful progress in Therapitas’ mission.

Essential Responsibilities

Cleaning and Sanitizing
1. Daily (preferably 2x/day)
  1. Swiffer mats
  2. Wipe down handrails on stairs
  3. Move transportation (bikes, scooters) back to identified gym location
  4. Lysol swings, bike handles, pillow foam blocks, trampoline and netting
  5. Lysol all toys and put in the nearest container in all gyms
  6. Sanitize food toys in sanitizer
  7. Unload and reload dishwasher
  8. Handwash necessary items in bucket
2. Weekly
  1. Re-organize resource room, straighten up and put away items in the lost bucket
Therapy Runner
1. Weekly
  1. Complete food therapy prep including sorting foods by color, cutting foods, prepping food boxes for therapy sessions
  2. Clean feeding kitchen and supplies after feeding therapy sessions.
2. As needed
  1. Monitor google chat for requests to locate and bring necessary items to clinicians (i.e. specific therapist needs an iPad, specific toy, or for FD to contact a caregiver for help transitioning)
  2. If all other tasks are completed, support therapists by re-arranging therapy materials (obstacle courses in gym) or completing therapy projects (laminate, cut, print projects from therapists)
Manage Basic Reordering of Supplies
1. On a weekly basis
  1. Review cleaning closet supplies and submit purchase request for low stock items
  2. Review feeding therapy supplies and submit purchase request for low stock items
