As an OR specialist, you’ll be integral to the perioperative team, delivering comprehensive care from pre-op preparation through anesthesia coordination, surgical timeouts, and meticulous post-operative debriefing. Your responsibilities will include ensuring sterile technique, safe patient positioning, correct device and instrument setup, meticulous room turnaround, accurate documentation, and proactive communication with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses. You’ll advocate for patient safety, manage emergent situations with calm precision, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and regulatory compliance.
